Can't Ya See 03:41
Can't ya see what you're doin to me? My heart is racing my face is red Can't ya see what your doin to me? I'm feeling dizzy gonna fall down dead.. The sight of you is intoxicating I'm drunk just seeing your face Yes I'm high just appreciating the way you walked in this place Do you believe in love at first sight? I never did til this very night Your rugged looks and that luscious smile Come on baby lets dance awhile Can' ya see what you're doing to me? You make me jump right to my feet You're sending me some good vibrations Awww sweet temptation The sight of you is intoxicating I'm drunk just seeing your face Yes, I'm high just appreciating the way you walked in this place Do you believe in love at first sight? I never did til this very night Your rugged looks and that dangerous smile Come on baby lets dance awhile

Carry Me 03:40
Blue skies, birds in flight Clouds are floatin' free Water skipping over stones And it's flowing to the sea River take me in your arms and Carry me River take me in your arms and Carry Me My soul cries, cut these worldly ties Throw down your bags and flee Wash away the doubt that clouds my mind And set me free Run through the forest deep the meadow where the whitetail sleep Saturate my heart with peace and carry me Carry Me, Carry Me Sunshine in my eyes Sands upon my feet The tide is dancing on the shore It’s come to welcome me River take me in your arms and Carry me River take me in your arms and Carry Me Won't you carry me…echo carry me

Soft scent of jasmine The chatter of the birds Footsteps on the stones Mindfully mindful Deep breath of morning Whispers to the sun Stories of visitors Silently dancing Time will wait for no one She numbers all of our days The Garden Path will lead you, carefully The sun's kiss for pardon The bird's song for mirth Days in the garden are the best spent on earth Grateful are the lilies gathering the dew That sparkles and shimmers The orbs of reflection The laughter of the daisies The blushing of the rose Sweet green maiden hair The palette of creation Time will wait for no one She numbers all of our days The Garden Path will lead you, carefully The sun's kiss for pardon The bird's song for mirth Days in the garden are the best spent on earth Make haste but slowly the moments will fly Life passes as a shadow beneath the changing sky Delight in creation Stay close to the earth Given as a blessing from the moment of your birth

Well give me joy in the morning Give me peace in the afternoon And give me lovin' in the still of the night We work all day, sleep all night Everything's gonna be alright If you lay down next to me in the morning light Come on down to see me baby I'll let you sleep 'til noon Pancakes for breakfast Whiskey in the afternoon Don't want to eat my meals sitting all alone Come on baby, bring it on home And give me joy in the mornin' give me peace in the afternoon And give me lovin' in the still of the night We work all day, sleep all night Everything's gonna be alright If you lay down next to me in the morning light Pass the syrup honey Sweeten up my stack Blueberries too, from the garden out back It's such a simple thing Spending time with the one you love For you baby, I thank the Lord above For giving me joy in the mornin' and peace in the afternoon And giving me lovin' in the still of the night We work all day, sleep all night Everything's gonna be alright If you lay down next to me in the morning light

Sycamore 02:59
Sycamore Sycamore stands beside the stream Where I go to sit and dream Branches reaching tall and wide Prettiest tree in the countryside Sycamore sycamore sycamore Watched you grow since I was young From your branches I have swung Jumped into your leaves piled high Laughed so hard it made me cry Sycamore sycamore Roots in the earth crown so high Wind through your leaves sings a lullaby Nestled at your feet am I Your silhouette against the sky Sycamore Beneath your lovely shade oh tree Is where my love and I will be Lovesick til the end of time Hearts and hands and love am I Sycamore sycamore Sycamore stands beside the stream Where I go to sit and dream…..

Awakening 03:53
Tumbleweed… tumbling tumbling Falling down deep in your eyes Wander, wandering wandering Wake me …early to rise Daffodils casting hillsides Yellow Ladybug spots abound The Prophet speaks, He moans and bellows Deaf man hears the sound Fantasy’s awakening Will I see you from time to time Sinking in a glass of wine Let’s fly away, gliding and soaring Floating up under the clouds Tranquil, quiet silence No hatred, no shouting outloud Climb aboard feel the feathers gentle Rising and lifting high Eagle waxes sentimental No one hears her cry A visionary’s reverie Who’s that staring through the glass Too astonished to ask Going home traveling traveling A place…..that I’ve never known Open…. Opening, opening Dissonant diminished tones Peer into the looking glass Visions of your dreams Questioning reflections They’re never what they seem Paradise awaiting Come with me in my dreams tonight Leave this world of black and white

Come sing to me love I long to be near you My heart wants to hear your voice So soft in my ear Come sing to me love the days go by so slow I want you to know love waits for you Time stands still you watch the show Rain will fall and wind will blow Eyes grow wide and fill with tears They dry with time So sing your song bye and bye When dreams had wings and they would fly Up to the sun they lift and rise They know the way, they know the way Come sing to me love I long to be near you My heart wants to hear your voice So soft in my ear Come sing to me love the days go by so slow and I want you to know love waits for you As Time moves on we learn and grow To live and love the best we know We will seek and then we find The way back home Wake and greet the new day sun A cup of joe and off we run To ride the tide of this new wave Life is good, life is good Come sing to me love I long to be near you My heart wants to hear your voice So soft in my ear My heart wants to hear your voice So soft in my ear….So soft in my ear

I’d walk for miles To spend some time among the trees In the forest deep The aspens quaking in the breeze From the forest floor To the crown of the redwood grove I’ll lift my voice And the wise ones listen I sing to the trees Pouring out my soul Safe in the shelter I can feel the music flow My voice is rising And floating in the air More than a song It is my heartfelt prayer I place myself In the presence of the woods Knowing they can teach me What no professor ever could Lessons in strength A life practice of )peace And the gift of silence Is what they bring to me

I’m drinking whiskey in the rain Feeling no pain But you’re not here be side me I know I’m a fool for losing your love Baby, will you ever forgive me I never meant to run around All over town With that fiddle playing fool from Dixie He played a tune That sent me f# to the moon And I’ve never felt so frisky There’s really no explanation except that music swept me away He made me shiver from my head down to my toes. Next thing I knew, Well I couldn’t find my clothes Ya know I’ve got a weakness, darlin When I hear that fiddle play It lifts me up and carries me away But now I’m drinkin' whiskey in the rain Thinking about you babe Cuz you’re the one that’s always been there Through the good times and the bad I know in my heart you’re the best friend I’ve ever had So here I sit drinking whiskey in the rain Thinking about you babe So here I sit drinking whiskey in the rain Thinking about you Babe I’m missing you darlin’ thinking about you babe

My life has been a rollercoaster ride If I wasn’t always laughing I would cry The finest moments of them all were right before a fall Still I climb back up that hill to touch the sky G force pulls me down again My cheeks are stretchin’ pretty thin I’m screaming and I’m scared that I’m gonna die then I’m flying high without wings And It makes my spirit sing My tummy tickles, I’ve got the giggles Now I’ve reached the top and I’m in a pickle Falling faster than a stone This must be the Danger Zone I’m holding your hand tight but I feel so alone Daddy says today is just one day This too shall pass away Ups and downs Smiles and frowns There’s a ripple in the water and you think you’re gonna drown My life has been a rollercoaster ride If I wasn’t always laughing, I would cry So look on the bright side of life Hey it’s great to be alive Yes life is just a rollercoaster ride.

There's a trail to the horizon made of moonlight It leads to where the ocean meets the sky Here I stand awestruck i the shadows Staring at the heavens through the night Moonlight lay your hands upon the water Touch your magic fingers to the sea Moonlight lay your hands upon the water Touch me with your "Wild Serenity" The painter's brush upon the empty canvas Blending shades of silver, blue and gray Light and darkness play upon the skyline The artist brushes magic on the bay Moonlight lay your hands upon the water Touch your magic fingers to the sea Moonlight lay your hands upon the water Touch me with your "Wild Serenity" Waxing, waning, ever changing Push and pull the tide Pour down your silver all around me Nymphs and fairies were gathered there to dance As you slowly slip into the sea Moonlight...moonlight...moonlight...lovely moonlight

about

I believe in the magic of wild places. Grounded in the earth and in awe of creation is where I feel close to God. Many of the songs on this record were inspired by the beauty of such places, and my intention in writing them was to bring joy to those who listen. I hope I have succeeded. These songs are written from my heart and my hope is that they touch yours and make you smile! Wild Serenity is a collection of songs in several styles. You will love it!
